Dogs Out 5K Trail Race & Fun Run

Integrated Digital Campaign

This project was completed as an assignment per the course GRA358: Integrated Digital Campaign Design with Southern New Hampshire University.

The client Dogs Out 5K Trail Race and Fun Run required two digital ads for promoting their annual charity run: a static advertisement and an animated banner advertisement. These advertisements were created with the goal to increase participation in the marathon event by the target audience of active Millennial to Gen X college-educated professionals, families, and dog-lovers. Active, fun, and welcoming energy was key in these deliverables to encourage animal-loving athletes of all levels.

Static Advertisement

Images of athletes engaged in the event with their pets were arranged in a collage cut from the paw-print shape used in the client’s logo. Adding energy and playfulness are the bright campaign colors outlining this collage and sprinkled in the copy of the ad welcoming “runners, walkers, and animal lovers” to participate.

Animated Digital Ad

The playfulness of the previous ad is repeated with the paw-print shapes from the logo in the campaign colors “stepping” across the banner ad, bringing the viewer’s eye to the “Participate in-person or online!” copy and call-to-action.
